Hypnotherapy is a way of working directly with your subconscious mind: the part of you that holds your memories, beliefs, habits and automatic reactions.
In a session, I guide you into a deeply relaxed, focused state called trance. In trance, your subconscious opens to new information. That is where change begins.

Your conscious mind thinks, analyses and makes plans. Your subconscious mind runs everything else: your breathing, your emotions, your reactions, your sense of who you are.
It is often said that up to 95% of what we do is driven by the subconscious mind.
Between the two sits the critical factor. It acts as a filter: it protects the beliefs you already hold and keeps new ones out.
In hypnosis, the critical factor steps into the background. A part of you stays aware, but the door to your subconscious opens. Brain research shows that the part of the brain that scans for problems quiets down, while the connection between brain and body grows stronger.
When I then offer you beliefs you truly want to hold, your subconscious begins to accept them as true. Slowly, they become part of who you are.
New beliefs create new choices. And new choices create a new life.
Trance is not sleep. A well-known example from daily life is “highway hypnosis”: you drive a familiar route and arrive home with little memory of the journey. Researchers describe this as a trance-like state, where your attention turns inward while part of you keeps functioning on its own.
In a session, you experience a similar kind of focus, but on purpose and in a safe, relaxed setting.
No. A part of you stays aware the whole time. Think of the voice in your head that is usually so loud throughout the day. In trance, it moves to the background, but it is still present.
No one can make you do or say anything you do not want to.
Both are possible. Some people remember everything, while others remember only parts of their session, a bit like waking up from a dream. Either way is completely normal.
We start with a conversation about what is going on for you and what you would like to change. Then I guide you into a trance with your eyes closed. In that relaxed state, we work with what comes up, depending on the goal of the session.
At the end, I guide you back gently, and we take time to talk about what you experienced and how to take it into your daily life.
Hypnotherapy can support you if you feel stuck in patterns you understand but cannot break. It can help if your body carries tension or emotions you cannot explain. It can help if you are ready to change your life and become a new version of yourself.
In hypnosis, you can step into that identity before it has happened in real life. That is the key to manifestation. You only need to be open-minded and willing to face yourself.
No. This work can go alongside medical or psychological care, not instead of it. If you are currently in treatment, I ask for a referral from your doctor.
